Joe Laprairie

Joe Laprairie, a Regina, Saskatchewan born native, began playing Lacrosse at the age of seven. Joe has played all varieties of Lacrosse, but felt the most passionate about playing Field Lacrosse.

Joe attended Bishop’s University where he played for the Bishop's Gaiters in CUFLA (Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association)  Joe played five seasons for the Bishop's Gaiters Lacrosse team, winning a CUFLA National Championship in 2011. Over his career at Bishop's, Joe found his role at the face-off ‘X’. In his final  year Joe served as co-captain and was awarded the inaugural Coaches Award at the annual Gaiters Athletic Banquet.

Since graduating, Joe has immersed himself in the Regina Lacrosse community through volunteering with the QCMBL, playing Senior Lacrosse with the Regina Heat, and now is an active board member of Regina Field Lacrosse. If you don’t catch Joe on the field, you can usually find him on the edge of his seat at a Sask Rush game.

Joe hopes to serve the board with his passion for sport and relentless pursuit of growing this game!
